One of the most beautiful national parks in Croatia, it is a natural and karst phenomenon which Krka river makes. The river has shaped seven magnificent sedrenic waterfalls. Long hiking trails, waterfalls, old mills, wooden bridges, as well as island and lakes are part of this beautiful natural ecosystem. Island Visovac, surrounded by peace, silence and endless blue colour, is considered to be one of the most important natural and cultural values of Croatia. You will visit Visovac by pleasent boat ride. There you will see a Franciscan monastery with the church of Our Lady Visovac, as well as the monastery museum. The Franciscans have been prominent as caring plant growers, so you will enjoy a bit exotic landscaped gardens, and you will surely see peacocks, turtles and other animals inhabited on the island. After you have filled your batteries on this all – day excursion in the beautiful, untouched nature, it’s time to go back to your hotel / apartment.
